Innovation is more than ever the buzz word amongst the boards of directors in companies as well as amongst government leaders in countries across the globe. Many are talking about the importance to become more innovative but few know what to do and how to start.
Is it something that R&D or the science budget should fix or is it something for the whole company or country? Is there any general learning out there that we can use?
The answer is that there is generic learning out there ready to be used and that it should concern everyone. We believe there is a fundamental change going on in the business world, and the ones who will survive are the ones who are flexible enough to transform their businesses fast enough. The period in which the Taylor principles of management ruled the world is about to end.
Do you believe in the Darwin principle and if so, on which side do you want to be?
